VerkehrsRundschau campaign: With acquisition out of the crisis

Munich / Düsseldorf. The weekly magazine VerkehrsRundschau and the Düsseldorf-based marketing specialist LOG Direkt are launching a customer acquisition campaign for small and medium-sized transport and forwarding companies today under the motto “With acquisition out of the crisis”. With this campaign, the companies are to be actively supported in customer acquisition. VerkehrsRundschau subscribers can apply up to June 21, 2010 and win consulting and sales services with a total value of 15,000 euros.

“Despite the economic crisis, logistics companies shouldn't bury their heads in the sand. If you want to survive in these difficult times, you have to look for new sources of income. We want to help with our campaign, ”says Andre Kranke, deputy editor-in-chief of VerkehrsRundschau.

Participants in the “With acquisition out of the crisis” campaign must outline the basic idea for expanding their business activities in a short application form and send it to VerkehrsRundschau. In it you should outline how and in which area you want to win new customers with your services. A jury - made up of representatives from the VerkehrsRundschau editorial team and the LOG-Direkt management - then selects the ten companies with the most promising models for acquiring new customers from all the applications. These concepts will then be presented to the VerkehrsRundschau readers from logistics services and shippers. They then vote on the Internet about which of the ten companies should be helped to implement their business idea.

The experts from LOG Direkt then help implement the best three concepts. The first winner can look forward to a comprehensive direct sales campaign to acquire new customers worth around 10,000 euros with the aim of arranging at least ten personal meetings with potential shippers and 25 information contacts for the winner of the main prize. "With these conversations and contacts with the shipping industry that we have made possible, we provide the main winner with ideal conditions to implement the business idea together with a new customer," says Marc Possekel, Managing Director of LOG Direkt.
