Fly 4 s / 1000 = 0.004 s 1000/4 s = 250 wing beats / s

butterfly 60 s / 600 = 0.1 s 600/60 s = 10 wing beats / s

The above sequence is based on the greatest number of wing beats per second or the height of the associated humming sound.
