### Divisibility rules for 2, 5 and 10

You check the divisibility of a natural number by 2 or 5 in its last place, the ones. If this number is even (i.e. 0, 2, 4, 6 or 8), then the number is divisible by 2, otherwise not. If the last digit is 0 or 5, the number is divisible by 5, otherwise not. A number is divisible by 10 if it is divisible by 2 and 5 (2 ∙ 5 = 10), otherwise not. This is only the case for the numbers ending with 0.

Rule of divisibility for 2: A number is divisible by 2 if it is even, i.e. if its last digit is 0, 2, 4, 6 or 8, otherwise not.

Divisibility rule for 5: A number is divisible by 5 if its last digit is 0 or 5, otherwise not.
