Who are the richest YouTubers in 2019

He's looking for bacteria in mom's mouth | The richest YouTuber
2019 is only eight

Forget PewDiePie, Rezo and Bibi: this little guy puts them all in his pocket. None of the big Youtube stars deserve more than Ryan Kaji (8) at the moment!

The little Texan has been in the video business since he was three - and made it to the top (with the kind support of his parents). According to the latest Forbes evaluation, he and his team sank a whopping 23 million euros on the video platform in the twelve months since June 2018.

The mega-success began in spring 2015 with simply produced clips: Mini-Ryan is filmed with a shaky camera as he chooses something in the toy store. Then he can unpack and play at home.

Despite the mediocre sound and poor lighting, one click hit after the other resulted.

Since then, the family has become extremely professional and now offers what the other YouTube stars also have: upbeat intros, gaudy effects, quick cuts. The range of topics has been expanded, Ryan is now also doing scientific experiments, for example testing at home how many bacteria are under his sister's shoe or in Mum's mouth.

Practically every day the Guan family (Kaji is just a stage name) puts out new videos, the most successful one has so far garnered 1.9 billion clicks.

But YouTube isn't everything: Meanwhile, Ryan has his own show on Nickelodeon, and together with his parents also sells toys and everything else that makes money - in collaboration with Colgate, for example, toothbrushes and toothpaste. It's total marketing, the most recent highlight being the release of a Ryan video game (for PS4, XBox One, Nintendo Switch and Windows).

Papa Shion (31, formerly an engineer) and Mama Loan (35, ex-teacher) have long since given up their old jobs. The Guans now live in a 580-square-meter house with a large pool in Cypress, Texas, and own other properties in the area. The film will be shot in a specially purchased 1.2 million dollar studio (1 million euros).

By the way, Ryan has already landed on the Forbes list of the highest-earning YouTube stars 2018 in first place, at the time with the equivalent of 20 million euros in revenue. In 2017 it reached 8th place with 10 million.

His mother didn't always have that much money: As a student, the daughter of Vietnamese immigrants was caught shoplifting in 2002 when she wanted to take away clothes for $ 93.

These are the other top earners

▶ ︎ 10th place: Evan Fong (27) from Toronto (Canada). He made ten million in twelve months from gaming videos, according to Forbes.
